WPF’s board and staff consist of highly experienced, caring and professional individuals (clergy and lay) who are sensitive to the needs of ministers and other servants of the Church and NFP organizations. The board guides the policies and direction of the work to ensure operational soundness; financial integrity; safe, secure investments; and competitive earnings for participants.

Tax-sheltered Benefits in Retirement

Member benefits include significant tax savings which accrue from use of a 403(b)(9) tax sheltered retirement plan. Credentialed minister members also benefit from a substantial tax savings from use of a “housing allowance” tax-sheltering feature during retirement.

The mission of WPF is to “Improve Financial Security for the Servants of the Church.” To accomplish this goal and maximize investor value, WPF was established as a not-for-profit ministry organization. Fees are always kept at the lowest level and well below industry averages.

WPF will provide administrative functions including membership enrollment services, regular posting of contributions to member accounts, investment selections, quarterly statements, recordkeeping, financial planning and retirement planning assistance and other help as needed by our members.

Our investment advisor is Morgan Stanley, a leading financial planning/investment/trust services firm in the US. Our recordkeeping partner, Principal Financial Group, is one of the world leaders in retirement plan recordkeeping. Servant Solutions is our administrative services partner.

Other Services

WPF provides life and long-term disability insurance coverage alongside our retirement plan services. This is an employer-based life and long-term disability policy in which premiums are paid via withholding from the employer contributions.
